I wanted to let people know that the bottle is meant to evoke a different era, that of the 30’s and 40s. When you walk in it, it seems that you are sowing nanoparticles of plant juices everywhere, they swirl and run ahead of you, and everyone around breathes only sprayed fresh, sour, sweet, tart, astringent, transparent juices. It’s a very old school scent and young people may find it very unwearable but It's a piece of time capsule for me. The last time I tried it I wore one spray on the back of my neck and one to each elbow crease so the fragrance was never too close to my nose and I still found it was too much for me.The florals in this aren’t drowned out by the million other notes, nor do they turn the florals into a completely different scent. I smell the tuberose very much, and it is quite powdery yet warm; a beautiful yet powerful flower bomb creation. The central accord is instantly recognizable, unforgettable and absolutely without equal even today.

My last thing is that Amarige was a model of inspiration in parfume world, as my mom was a example for me in my life. I won't be reaching much for this one, because if I want me some white flower perfume I will reach for my Pure Poison by Dior, because that is how I imagine white flower scent. I believe it’s more of a spring scent and very feminine, and while the notes pyramid can seem discouraging, I feel it’s really well blended and quite airy from the neroli and ylang-ylang, which bring some freshness to it. I don't wear it anymore but I'm now familiar with this golden thread running through all the perfumes I've liked as tuberrose.The violet and the musk in this gives it that old world powderiness that is very nostalgic and pleasant smelling. Then one day it gave me a headache, which happened again and again and I have never been able to wear it since. Hands down, Amarige has been in my top 3 fragrances for the last two decades and it's still one of my best contenders.

That’s ok because my favorite big beautiful everything but the kitchen sink 90s yellow floral is Amarige.If The Beautiful Actress/Film Star Michelle Pfeiffer Was Or Ever Could Be A Perfume, She Most Certainly Would Be This One! The warm woody base of Amarige is a perfect blend of musk, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, Tonka bean and cedar.
